Serving Higher Education Since 2011 NYU · Columbia · Cornell Tech · Brooklyn College Based in New York City

A video production and AV partner that already knows your campus.

Higher education has been one of the strongest and most consistent areas of work for Transcendent Enterprise. For more than a decade, we've partnered with colleges and universities on content that supports enrollment, fundraising, advancement, faculty recruitment, executive communications, commencements, livestreaming, student engagement, and major events.

What makes this work different is that universities rarely need only one type of video. They need a production partner that understands the institution, the people, the brand, and the many audiences the university is trying to reach — prospective students, current students, faculty, alumni, donors, parents, trustees, corporate partners, and the broader community.

That includes the organizations that come to campus. If your company, foundation, nonprofit or conference is hosting an event at NYU, Columbia, Cornell Tech or Brooklyn College, we've already worked inside those buildings, and we know how campus access, house AV and load-in tend to work before your event day.

We help universities, and the people who host events at them, communicate with all of them.

Hosting an event at NYU, Columbia, Cornell Tech or Brooklyn College?

Universities open their halls, theaters and conference spaces to outside groups all the time: companies, foundations, nonprofits, professional associations and summit organizers. The space comes with rules. Crew names cleared in advance. A certificate of insurance that names the school. A house AV team with its own board. A loading route you need to know before call time.

A crew that has never worked the building learns those rules on your event day. We've filmed, livestreamed and run AV on these campuses for the universities themselves, so when you bring an event to campus, you get a media partner who already knows the room.

Event filming, livestreaming, interviews, recap videos and AV support, planned around the venue you booked.

NYU video production

Kimmel Center · Rosenthal Pavilion · Bobst Library · Tandon, Brooklyn · 665 Broadway studio · Yankee Stadium commencement

NYU is our deepest campus relationship. We're an approved NYU vendor, our COI covers NYU buildings, and we film everything from summits and conferences at the Kimmel Center to commencement tribute videos for Tisch, Law, Wagner, Meyers and Steinhardt.

We know the building-access process with NYU Campus Safety, and at Kimmel we tie into the house A/V team's sound board for clean audio.

Columbia University video production

Alfred Lerner Hall · Morningside Heights campus

We've covered full-day academic conferences in Lerner Hall with a three-person crew: panels, keynote sessions, roving interviews, recap videos and social clips.

Rooms at Columbia book up fast, so we plan for it, with interview setups that can rove instead of holding a private room all day. We're already set up in Columbia's vendor system, so paperwork doesn't slow your event down.

Cornell Tech video production

Roosevelt Island campus · Bloomberg Center · Makerspace

We produced a multi-day admissions and program video series on Cornell Tech's Roosevelt Island campus: student and program director interviews, teleprompter-supported messaging, Makerspace b-roll, and a sizzle video for the campus open house.

Our Cornell Tech shoots start with an on-campus walk-through and a crew list cleared ahead of time.

Brooklyn College video production

Claire Tow Theater · Brooklyn College campus (CUNY)

For Brooklyn College's Presidential Lecture Series, we ran a three-camera fireside chat production in the Claire Tow Theater and cut it to match the series' existing branding.

The house audio team provides a full mix, so we bring our own multitrack recording for a cleaner edit. We pre-register vehicles with campus security and plan the load-in ahead of the day.

We also produce for CUNY's Kingsborough Community College, Berkeley College, Metropolitan College of New York and other schools across the city.

Transcendent Enterprise is an independent New York City production company. University names are used to describe where we've worked and do not imply affiliation with or endorsement by any institution.

From commencement to campaign content.

Some of our longest-running relationships in higher education began with live events. Transcendent Enterprise has been producing and supporting commencement livestreams since 2011, including major ceremonies at venues like Barclays Center and Prudential Center. We've also filmed NYU commencement programming at Yankee Stadium — one of the most important moments in the student experience, at the scale a major university event requires.

These productions involve much more than recording the stage: multi-camera video, professional livestreaming, event audio, speaker coverage, photography, presentation integration, graduate and family reactions, full ceremony recordings, highlight films, social content, and post-event editing.

A commencement happens once a year. The content keeps representing the institution long after the ceremony ends.

Live streaming for universities.

Universities have audiences everywhere. Families who can't travel to commencement. Alumni across the country. Guest speakers joining remotely. Lectures and institutional events that need to reach far beyond campus.

Our livestream production helps universities extend those events beyond the room — professional cameras, audio, live switching, graphics, presentation integration, recording, and on-site technical crew for commencements, lectures, conferences, panels, presidential addresses, faculty events, student programming, alumni events, and institutional announcements.

The goal is a broadcast that represents the university professionally — for the people in the room and the people watching from anywhere. Explore our livestream production →

Enrollment & recruitment video.

Students experience a university digitally before they ever walk onto campus — which means video plays a major role in how a prospective student starts forming an opinion about the institution.

We help colleges and universities create content that communicates academic opportunities, campus life, student experiences, career pathways, faculty expertise, programs and majors, institutional culture, student outcomes, and admissions messages — for university websites, YouTube, social media, digital advertising, streaming platforms, open houses, and recruitment campaigns.

Our work with Kingsborough Community College, for example, included commercial-style content designed to position the college and its programs in front of prospective students on modern digital and streaming platforms.

The objective isn't just to make the campus look good. It's to help the right student see themselves there.

Faculty recruitment & academic storytelling.

Students aren't the only audience universities need to attract. Strong institutions also compete for exceptional faculty, researchers, administrators, and academic leaders.

Video helps universities communicate the culture, resources, mission, research opportunities, and people behind the institution — faculty profiles, department videos, research storytelling, academic program films, campus culture pieces, and interviews with current faculty and students.

The strongest recruitment content does more than explain a position. It helps someone understand why they'd want to become part of the institution.

Presidential, executive & leadership profile videos.

University presidents, deans, faculty leaders, and senior executives often need to communicate important messages clearly and confidently on camera. We produce leadership profile videos, presidential messages, executive interviews, and institutional films designed to make that process as comfortable and efficient as possible.

For scripted or highly polished messaging, we provide teleprompter support — so executives don't have to memorize long statements or worry about losing their place. That's especially helpful for presidential introductions, state-of-the-university messages, capital campaign videos, strategic plan announcements, donor communications, institutional updates, commencement messages, and board and stakeholder communications.

Our team handles lighting, framing, audio, teleprompter setup, pacing, and on-camera direction so the speaker can focus on delivering the message naturally. The production approach can range from formal executive messaging to documentary-style storytelling that reveals the person behind the title.

The goal is not to make someone sound scripted. The goal is to make the process easier so they can appear confident, polished, and authentic.

Executive-friendly production.

We understand that presidents, deans, CEOs, and senior leaders have limited time. That's why we build the production around their schedule and make the on-camera process as efficient as possible.

Professional lighting. Clean audio. Teleprompter support. Experienced direction. A polished final message.

Fundraising, advancement & donor stories.

Some of the most important university stories are ultimately about impact. Why should someone give? What does a scholarship make possible? What did a capital investment change? What happens when donors support a specific program?

Through student testimonials, alumni profiles, faculty interviews, donor stories, program documentation, and cinematic institutional films, we help advancement teams show the human impact behind the fundraising goal — for capital campaigns, annual giving, scholarship campaigns, alumni relations, major gifts, fundraising events, donor updates, and grant communications.

The principle is the same one we use throughout our work: document the work, demonstrate the impact, and give people a reason to support what happens next.

One shoot can serve the entire university.

If our team is already on campus interviewing a professor, why only create one faculty profile? That same production day can generate a recruitment video, a research story, social clips, website content, short-form vertical videos, photography, admissions content, donor communications, and executive messaging.

The same applies to commencements, conferences, student programs, alumni events, and presidential interviews. We plan every shoot so the footage keeps working — across departments, across platforms, long after the production day.

And because universities are complicated organizations — admissions needs one thing, advancement another, the President's Office something else — working with an experienced higher-ed production partner means nobody starts from zero every time a department needs a video. We learn the brand, the campus, and the stakeholders, then hold a consistent production standard across the university.

Raise enrollment. Raise support. Build the brand. Tell the story.

Sometimes higher education video means helping a prospective student choose your school. Sometimes it means letting a family watch commencement from another country. Sometimes it means recruiting a leading professor, introducing a new president, or showing a donor exactly what their support made possible.

Different videos. Different audiences. One goal-oriented production strategy.

"We've grown from the engagement and we were really grateful for the experience."

Higher-ed video & campus event FAQ.

Can you film or livestream an event we're hosting at NYU, Columbia, Cornell Tech or Brooklyn College?

Yes. We've worked inside buildings at all four campuses, including NYU's Kimmel Center, Columbia's Lerner Hall, Cornell Tech's Bloomberg Center and Brooklyn College's Claire Tow Theater. Tell us the venue and date and we'll plan around that building's access, AV and load-in.

Can you provide a certificate of insurance for a university venue?

Yes. We provide COIs naming the university and venue as required, and as an approved NYU vendor our coverage already includes NYU buildings.

Do you work with the venue's in-house AV team?

Yes. Most campus venues have a house AV team and sound board. We coordinate with them ahead of time, take a feed from their board and bring our own backup recording, so the audio stays clean even when the house system can't record multitrack.

Are you affiliated with these universities?

No. Transcendent Enterprise is an independent NYC production company. We've worked with these institutions and on their campuses, but we aren't part of, or endorsed by, any of them.

Do you livestream commencements and university events?

Yes. We've been producing and supporting commencement livestreams since 2011, including ceremonies at Barclays Center and Prudential Center, and we've filmed NYU commencement programming at Yankee Stadium. We provide multi-camera production, live switching, professional audio, presentation integration, recording, and on-site technical crew.

Do you produce enrollment and recruitment videos for colleges?

Yes — that's a core service. We create cinematic recruitment and enrollment campaigns for colleges and universities, built to run where prospective students actually watch: YouTube, connected TV, streaming platforms, and social.

Can you film university presidents and executives who are busy or camera-shy?

Yes. We build the production around the leader's schedule and make the on-camera process as efficient as possible. For scripted messaging we provide teleprompter support so executives don't have to memorize long statements, and our team handles lighting, framing, audio, pacing, and on-camera direction. The goal isn't to make someone sound scripted — it's to make the process easier so they can appear confident, polished, and authentic.

Do you work with community colleges and universities?

Yes, both. Our higher education clients have included NYU, Cornell Tech, Columbia, Brooklyn College, Berkeley College, Metropolitan College of New York, and Kingsborough Community College — from single shoots to relationships that have run for years.

How much does a higher-education video cost?

It's quoted per project based on scope. A commencement livestream, an enrollment campaign, a presidential message, or an ongoing content partnership all price differently — tell us the goal and we'll map the right approach quickly.

Can one campus shoot serve multiple departments?

Yes — and it should. A single production day interviewing a professor can produce a faculty recruitment video, a research story, social clips, website content, admissions material, and donor communications. We plan every shoot so the footage keeps working across departments and platforms.

Bringing an event to campus, or telling your institution's story?

Commencement, enrollment, a presidential message, a campaign film — tell us the goal and we'll build the production around it.
