Malachi “Joy”
Multi-instrumentalist Malachi brings his EP Joy to life on stage with his band at Hackensack Performing Arts Center. The live performance is woven together with his family and the story behind the music.
Every song. Every angle. Start to finish.
We film live music the way it deserves to be seen: multiple cameras, clean sound from the room, and an edit that follows the performance from the first note to the final bow. Classical recitals, opera, gospel choirs, bands, galas and music from cultures around the world, in theaters, concert halls, lofts, gardens and living rooms across New York City, New Jersey and beyond.
Most of our concert work is long form. Full concerts edited from start to finish, often an hour to more than two hours, recorded in 4K and cut from several camera angles so it feels like you had the best seat in the house.
A single camera at the back of the room documents a concert. A multi-camera recording lets people experience it: the full stage, the soloist's face, the pianist's hands, the drummer counting in, the audience on their feet.
We plan camera positions around the program before the doors open, so we know where the solo is coming and which angle needs to be ready. Then we edit the whole performance, cutting with the music instead of against it.
That's the difference between a recording and a concert film.
Three examples that show the range: a cinematic concert documentary, a private concert series we have filmed year after year, and a live-streamed recital.

Every year since 2022, one of our clients has brought opera singers from Italy to New York. One night they perform at Lincoln Center. The next, they sing in his garden on Long Island, for the people he loves most, including someone who can't easily get to a concert hall.
At the house we do more than film. We run the audio, record with multiple cameras and send the live picture to a TV inside, so no one misses a note wherever they are. Then we edit the full program for the family, their friends and the singers back in Italy.
An opera and art song recital streamed live from a brick-walled loft, with the title and composer of every piece on screen.
This one was produced as a livestream, so it's delivered at the stream's 1080p resolution. Our recorded concerts are captured and delivered in 4K.
Every room looks and sounds different. These are the performances we film most, and each one gets the same planning and the same multi-camera edit.

The complete performance, edited from every angle, ready for the artist, the archive or a premiere.
A tighter cut of the strongest performances when the full program is longer than you need.
Individual songs as their own videos for YouTube, streaming platforms and press.
Interviews and behind-the-scenes woven into the performance, like Malachi “Joy.”
The concert streamed as it happens, with program titles on screen, and recorded at the same time.
Stills of the artists and the audience, plus short vertical clips for social.
Your concert shouldn’t stop reaching people when the curtain closes. A thoughtfully captured performance can become a collection of content that keeps your artists visible, engages your audience, and helps promote what comes next.
We help you turn your recording into a coordinated release of full performances, individual songs, standout moments, and short promotional clips.
Horizontal videos for YouTube and your website. Vertical clips for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. Square or portrait edits for social feeds. We adapt framing, pacing, titles, and captions so each version feels intentional wherever it appears.
A compelling solo, an audience reaction, an artist introduction, or a behind-the-scenes moment can give someone a reason to watch, share, and discover your work. We help identify those moments and shape them into content with a clear purpose.
Our services can include thumbnails, titles, descriptions, upload support, and release planning. We help organize your content so it is easier to publish consistently across the platforms that matter to your audience.
The clients who make the most of their production investment treat the finished video as the beginning of their marketing. They release performances, share shorter clips over time, give artists and partners content to repost, and use each event to build interest in the next.
A single upload gives your audience one opportunity to engage. A planned collection of content creates more opportunities to discover your artists, revisit the experience, and take action.
We can plan those deliverables before filming, making your production work harder from the start.
Let’s build a production plan and a content plan together.
The picture gets the attention, but people stop watching a concert when it sounds thin. We coordinate with the venue's sound engineer, record a feed from the house mix when there is one, and bring our own audio setup when there isn't.
Then the sound is mixed and cleaned up in the edit along with the picture, so the recording carries the energy of being there.
Sound for the room. Sound for the stream. Sound for the recording.
Our concert screening room has more than 30 full-length concerts, song videos and gala performances: classical recitals, opera, gospel choirs, bands and showcases. Find the one closest to your setup, or tell us about your concert and we'll point you to the best match.

It depends on the stage, the program and the budget. Most concerts are filmed with several cameras so the edit can cut between the full stage, the soloists and the audience. We recommend a setup once we know the venue.
